Predator Armor’s Level III Lightweight Polyethylene Body Armor delivers advanced ballistic protection without the weight. Proudly made in the USA, this plate is constructed from Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE)—a cutting-edge material that provides rifle-rated protection at just 3.3 lbs per plate.

Unlike steel or ceramic plates, polyethylene armor is buoyant, making it ideal for maritime or water-adjacent environments. The multicurve ergonomic design ensures superior comfort and freedom of movement, while the thin 1” profile offers a lower profile than competing plates.

Poly plates eliminate the risk of spalling or fragmentation, as the material naturally captures incoming rounds. Multiple layers of UHMWPE are heat-pressed under extreme pressure, bonding into a hardened barrier that captures and stops bullets while maintaining structural integrity.

A rugged polyurea coating protects the plate from UV exposure, moisture, and everyday wear, making it virtually maintenance-free. As always, Predator Armor products are independently tested to NIJ 0101.06 standards and 100% made in the USA.
